You’re doing your best to hold everything together, but it feels like you’re always “on.” You might be dealing with heavy pressure to perform in sports, school, or your career. Juggling all of these family and relationship demands makes it feel like you have no off switch. You lie awake replaying conversations, worrying if you’ve let someone down, or wondering why it seems easier for everyone else, while you’re exhausted and still can’t fully rest.
On the outside, people may see you as capable, driven, or “the strong one.” On the inside, you might feel overwhelmed, anxious, or weighed down by stress, guilt, or self-doubt. Maybe past trauma, ongoing discrimination, or heavy family expectations have taught you to push your needs aside. You stay quiet and just keep going, even when you are deeply hurting. It can start to feel like you’re falling behind in life, struggling to keep up with day-to-day responsibilities, or constantly bracing for the next thing to go wrong. How I help I help teens and adults slow down the constant internal pressure and build a more compassionate, sustainable way of moving through life. Together, we create a space where all parts of your experience are welcome—your thoughts, emotions, culture, identities, values, and the realities of the systems you’re navigating—so you don’t have to edit or shrink yourself to fit in. In our sessions, we will look at what is driving your anxiety, burnout, or emotional numbness. We will always move at a pace that feels safe and doable for you. I build our work on trauma-informed care and practical tools like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we will map out your daily patterns and name your true needs. You will walk away with real-time coping skills that actually work for your life. Because of my background in rehabilitative psychology and years of experience as a competitive Taekwondo athlete and coach, I also support athletes and high performers who are carrying intense mental and physical demands. Whether you are dealing with performance anxiety, perfectionism, injury recovery, or the weight of expectations, we’ll work on both your mindset and your nervous system so you can compete and show up in life from a more grounded place. What you can expect from our work My goal is to help you move out of survival mode and into a life that feels more balanced, intentional, and genuinely your own. Over time, many of my clients notice that they can breathe a little easier, that the constant mental spiraling quiets down, and that they have more capacity for the things and people that truly matter to them. You may find yourself:
You don’t have to carry all of this on your own or have everything figured out before you start. If you’re ready to have a space that is just for you—to sort through what’s happening, make sense of your story, and practice new ways of being—I’d be honored to walk that path alongside you. |
